I have a 2007 Mazda3 2.3L manual transmission stock..

I've had it for a couple years now, and am looking to upgrade performance/appearance. I'm new to upgrading and have been trying to find some good forums on what to do. But I love racing and pushing my car to the limits and I want those limits to be amplified.

I'm mostly looking for performance first, and some associated prices. Any help or advice?

 

try mazda3forums.com, or just google mazda 3 to find mod pricing. Start with CAI and Catback exhaust. I'm 30 and I grew tired of the exhaust noise already (My previous car was an Audi S4 with a Milltek exhaust and a silencer but still too loud - the car was stolen). So go with the CAI, the exhaust won't help you all that much. In fact, the larger diameter will reduce your torque a bit but increase top end. If you're crazy about go fast mods and don't care about noise, maybe go for custom or Borla, I recommend 2.5" even if you add a turbo.
