I should say that I cant find reference to this anywhere else... maybe its just an Australian thing...

Actaully - if you do a google search for "Mazda3 MPS" (include quotes) you will get some links in Russian and also german... you can translate the page (its a poor translation) but they are seeming to release a souped up Mazda3... wonder if that will come State-side.

here's a better link that describes it - the Mazdaspeed6 Engine crammed into a Mazda3 MPS edition... this is a cached google page:

the mazdaspeed 3 will be coming out in 06 last I heard and will be a FWD turbo 2.3L making 240bhp. Price will be about $25K. bookmark my post and check it in a year when it comes out and see if I was right....

I'd be SO surprised if it's the sedan.....I'm expecting the hatch. It wouldn't shock me though if it was both. Mazda kinda shot themselves in the foot by making the MSP the sedan only....I think it would've sold much better to have the p5 the MSP engine.

i sugest you learn more about turbo systems and how they work before putting one on your car. It's not like buying an intake...you can't just pick some pieces out and be done with it. It's a lot more complex than that.

www.hiboost.com has just finished their 2.3L turbo kit. IIRC it was 240whp on 7psi.

I prefer my M3 sport GT completely stock. I am still suprised at how much car I got with my $$s. The only thing I may change is to a better airfilter. I have another import that I have mods on and play with. I really dont wanna mess with my new ride. As told above.... many mods such as turbos can be quite complicated. You really have to know what your doing with regard to the right parts, install, tuning and even driving.
