2.3 Badges?

This might be a dumb question but why does the M3 brochure show "2.3" emblems on the door but nobody here has them on their ride, mine doesn't either...what's up with that?

Mine doesn't have them either, never thought to ask the dealer but I think I will do that and find out.

Has nothing to do with being gay or flashy, just wondering why they are not on the car but shown on the brochure. The big thing years ago jeebus was molded bumper covers and shaved emblems maybe this guy just wants to know......well so do I. Pretty obervant if you ask me.

I was just stating my opinion on them because my girlfriend and I had a discussion about it a few weeks ago. We saw the commercial on TV and started wondering why her 3 didn't have the badges. I then thought about how much better it looks without them and she seemed to agree.

Because the brochure shows pre-production models. You'll note in the back of the brochure that there is fine print stating that options and whatnot are subject to change without notice.

You will be able to pick up the 2.3 badges at your lacal dealers in the future. The 2004.5's will have the badges.
