I need some help choosing the correct wheel offset, for a 17x7 or 17x7.5 wheel. I know the stock 17x6.5 wheel has a 52mm offset.

 

I can tell you on my MS3 I went from stock 18x7 +52.5mm (I believe) to a 18x7.5 aftermarket with +45 offset with no problems.

I would stay with as high off an offset as you can to avoid rubbing the rear fenders.

A suggestion if you're looking to purchase, talk to someone on the phone rather than just ordering online and hoping they fit. I've felt much more comfortable after talking with someone "live" so to speak.
