R/R Caliper hanging up

anyone ever find out the situation with the right rear brake caliper hanging up and the pads wearing out early on an 05 M3 hatchback? Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to resolve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much

I've seen similar issues with the e-brake cables getting hung up and dragging brakes... just something to check.

Mazda_man_05 is an unknown quantity at this point
yeah, id say ive had the same problem

well this past week i took my car into midas to get a free brake inspection thinking my reaer brakes were going, was i in for a suprise!!!!! well when they called me they said we got sum bad news. both rear calipers were frozen as they put it, both rotors were shot, and the pads as you my have guessed are also shot. boy was i suprised. how can a car with 57k miles on it already need a complete!!!!!!! rear braking system on it. but one thing i did notice was that the rr pad was completely gone, where the lr still had sum surface left on it. i was thinking that this has to be sum kinda defect!!!!!! but anyways, thank god i bought that extended warrenty...lol... i mean when u buy one u kinda feel ripped of when u dont utalize it... but with only a 100 dedcutable and the calipers costing 380 a piece and another 120 labor to install them i guess im saving 780. the only downfall is the rotors and pads will come out of my pocket, and midas wants 260 installed for the rotors and the pads are 170 installed. so i told them to put the calipers on and ill do the rest myself.... didnt want to but save 300 i will.....
