Im getting ready to buy new tires for my 07 3 hatch. I have heard good things about the Kumho Ecsta ASX. I really need them for basic driving. I drive ALOT. I am thinking about putting .......215 45 17 on. How does this size ride compared to the 205 50's. Let me know ASAP.

I got Falken 912 for my baby, 215-50-17 and love them.

 

Cooper makes a nice tire called the CS4 touring. It's the newest tire that has come out for them. I've heard from several cooper dealers that it's a nice ride. Yokohama also makes the Avid W4S that is really nice. Very good riding tire and handles well. In my opinion both of these tires would be good for your needs. Both of them come in a P215/50R17.
