17" Rim weight
any ideas how much the stock 17" inch rim weight. i might be switching to a 23lbs one and i wonder if it will be a big difference.

You switchin to just an aftermarket 17? Either way you wont notice the weight difference...

because i don't want to spend more cash on new tires. thanx to my dads drunk driving he sratched the crap out of my rims, so i just want new ones. and they r only 400 for 4 of them.

could some1 answer the qestion anyway? how much does it weight.

I would imagine they're somewhere around 25 pounds... that's just a guess thought... I couldn't see them being any more than that.

What kind of rims are you getting? Post up a link

Depends on what kind they are - i've seen them as low as ~15lbs.

Its the stock mazda 3 17" rim, but is the stock 17"by 7 or by 6? I need to know as quck as i can.

hmm. Run down to your local Mazda dealer with a measuring tape - i looked around some online, only got the diameter, no widths.
