Need HELP!
Hey guys! first of thanks for taking your time to look at my post, im in much need of help with my 04 Mazda 3 Hatch.
Ok so my cd player face was stolen in feb. my cousin had just got a new one and gave me his old one. So today while i was at work he goes to install it, he has good and bad news. Good - right size player it fits. Bad - it doesnt turn on. So i think nothing of it until my keyless entry doesnt work. So i check google and try ALL the troubleshooting techniques i found for the keyless entry and NONE worked. But the problem doesnt end there.
1. keyless entry doesnt work
2. everytime i turn on the car the "trip A and B" counters RESET to 0
3. from the inside the power locks only UNLOCKS the doors, it doesnt lock and unlock
4. A/C RESETS itself (A/C coming in from outside and the A/C button off)
5. the car doesnt beep when i leave my lights on and the car is off anymore
6. When i turn the key twice while in the drivers door to lock all doors, NOTHING happens.
I asked my cousin if he took off the neg to the battery and he said no
Then he checked all the fuses and the were all good
I seriously have no idea what happened, but i took out the cd player and left all the wires in the console as if nothing happened...but i still get those 6 problems. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong i would GREATLY APPRECIATE your answers/opinions/support I seriously hope its something simple and stupid ive overlooked

i was told that alot of stuff runs through the radio. you should make sure everything is hooked up like its supposed to be. i had the same problem with my 04 3 trying to hook up a aftermarket raido. i had to put the stock one back in.

oh really? hmm yea cuz i got my mazda 3 used with an aftermarket radio already installed...so i dont have one to reinstall...but did your mazda work properly after you installed the stock radio? cuz someone told me to go get a cd player installed professionally and it might fix the problem, only thing is i dont have money for it at the moment
