Mazda 3 too wide for my scissor lift
I have an Australian sourced scissor lift I have use for all my various cars (Holdens, Fords and Mitsubishi) with success so far but I went to use it on my sons 2010 2.5 SP Mazda 3 and found it won't fit. The scissor lift appears to be the same as the Bendpak one here FREE SHIPPING — BendPak Portable Mid-Rise Scissor Lift — 6000-Lb. Capacity, Model# MD-6XP | Scissor Lifts| Northern Tool + Equipment . It's arms don't out far enough by about an inch/ 5 cm to reach the lift points on the seam on each side. Anybody had the same problem and have a solution?
I'm now too old, arthritic and decrepit to be crawling around on the cold concrete to service his car (he is disabled so relies on me to service his car). Just changing the pollen filter on this car was a challenge for my large and arthritic hands.

I solved this with these offset adapters gave me the few extra inches I needed: http://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/acc...-adapters.aspx
