Automatic door lock delays...

I have a 2008 Mazda3 Grand Touring. It has power windows and door locks. When I lock or unlock the doors the passenger side door lock mechanism always makes extra noises. It bothers me because I keep thinking that it is on the verge of either bending something internal or stripping the motor. I brought it to the dealers attention and of course this is "normal". NOT! If it were normal, the other doors would have the same noises, which they do not. Anyone out there have this problem? Better yet has anyone out there have a solution?

I haven't gotten that far into my doors yet - but juat go to the dealer, tell them to reproduce this on another car. if they can't simoly tell them to fix it. Their 'job' is to ignore these problems until the warranty runs out.
