Are you serious? I know the office is in Florida and you get your issue last. I would be raising hell to them

They have good shots of your front driver's side and rear

Well, they did a photoshoot of the car back in the beginning of summer. When I finally get the issue, ill let you know when they were all taken.
Looks like they also took an interior shot too.

Those pictures wouldn't be there without someone else to thank...

Jesse,
Congratulations on the spread in GRM. It looks like they included four photos of your car! Also, sorry to hear about your car (sorry about my questions about your Koseis - I didn't know at the time). The article may have just raised the value of our cars! How many proteges competed in STS at the nationals?

HAHA, you guys crack me up, it's like I didn't even post anything up there.

Yes, congrats to Jesse for getting his car in there.

And since no one is going to bother to look at the by-line, congrats to me for getting my first published article in GRM about the Protege! The very article which includes a few shots of Jesse's Protege, pre-crash version...:P

Hey, what about my GF Julie Jacobs. Although she isn't a member of this fourm, she trophied in STSL, and was picked to win (pick of the Pro in Sports Car). She won the second day, but not the first. She did get mentioned in the Sports Car article about STSL too. If I can't make it, at least my GF can.

And the reason that Jesse's Pro got the photo shoot was that David from GRM asked about pictures, and I put him in contact with Jesse (since it was more likely that he would drive to their office than me from California).

It also helps that I know Per Schroeder from when he lived in SoCal and raced a VW Jetta against my Protege in ES.

Congratulations to Chris and David (& David's GF)

Chris,

Congratulations on the exellent story! I must say I was very excited to see an article about the Protege in GRM, especially because it focuses on autocrossing. You included exellent and helpful information. I found it extremely enjoyable. After reading the article, I must say I did wonder about its origin. I mean, why an article about a car with few followers. Now I know. Incidntally, are you a professional writer?

David,

WOW! You are indeed an autocross stud. I knew from this forum that you autocross, but I had no idea how good you are. Congratuations! It seems from the National results that you are the only person not driving a 1989 Civic Si or Impreza RS. I can only imagine what you would have done in one of those cars (no insult intended to the protege). Any autocrossing tips for newbies? Also, do you ever come to the San Diego events (nesxt event is Nov 10). Art Rinner, Darryl and Vincent Wong often come down from LA and take all the trophies. Vincent is amazing. Come down and take him down in the Protege.
