Autocross the PR5 for the first time :)

My wife came up to watch the autocrosses since it was the last one. Her car is totally stock (ok she has a window tint visor )

I ran her car twice and to my total amazement it performed pretty well. If I were able to throw some DOT racing tires on it I would prolly have taken 1st. I got a 45.xxx and 1st place was 42. And figure racing tires give you 3-6 seconds on a 30-40 second course

Anyway people were in total amazement considering in my class STS I got a 41.0 and the last place car got a 56.3 So I would have placed maybe 4th or 5th in STS

Wife took pictures and video too. Will try to post them.

So I guess you had the Driver, Crazy Mojo in this equation, just lacked a bit of the 5% for tires hehe

good job.... what car placed first?

I placed 1st in STS in my Civic. Ford Focus took 1st in HS. That was a good battle. Her and another guy in a Dodge Omni were tied for 1st place going into the last event of the year. She edged him out by .2 seconds on her last run

So take that P5, get rid of 350 lbs, add some big sway bars, and give it a powerband that doesnt die at 5000 rpm, and then you have my car......sorta
When I took off the start line I wasn't ready for the amount of torque and the less than sticky tires. Did a great burn out to the first corner

Yeah, the damn things have torque. Desperately need an LSD because of it too. I found that out the hardway co-driving Jason Minehart's 99ES at our first Divisional this year.
Wish my Civic had torque Need to get a CRV engine in there That would solve everything.
