just saw this thread and i was curious..was this for a plan of meet or for the football and hokey..lol.


anyways, there was a plan for a meet but it got cancelled, theres a nopi race wars right now till sunday oct 17 at ennis..i was there earlier and the car show part was only two protege. a white one with houston import thing on the side (p5) and a black dx sedan. wish there was more.
also on the part of representing different areas in texas im representing DFW (dallas fort worth)..AND YES I LOVE MY MAZDA.. i have a converted 97 mazdaspeed protege, a 03.5 blue speed protege, a 98 mazda MPV es and back in the Philippines i have a 93 323 glx with 1.6l engine.. i gues i can say ive never driven any other brands.lol

 

man i should have posted something about the nopi drag wars. i am from ennis and i was there for a little while, i ended up doing some stuff and never went back. i own a black dx sedan but i wasn't showing. i actually parked outside. maybe next time!

 

Every on that has post on this thread needs to drive to Waco the weekend of 30 and we can get together! Or something like that! We need to meet, we can do it somewhere in the middle to cut down drive time. we could go to the east so houston guys can join us. We need to do this befor it gets cold.

 

im in school here in tyler but that sounds cool. i would like to meet other protege owners who love their car as much as i do. the next time that i will be in ennis or around the metroplex will be the 5,6,7 of november for my b-day. but hell even if we had to meet in the cold it wouldn't bother me. i've got a jacket and a nice heater in the pro let's do it!

Thats 3, Waco is only 1hr 20min from me. How far from Tyler? May be we could all meet in the middle. any one els?

 

well it would actually be closer if i were to tavel from ennis. from tyler it would be between 2-3 hours. but i dont know exactly from ennis. ennis is about 20 min north of corsicana. ill actually be moving back during december and i'll have lots of time before i start the fire academy in january. someone propose a date, damnit!!

 

Well November 6 is definitely out for me; UT plays OU State at home so I’ll be at the game. We could meet on the 7TH. He Specture do you think you might have the time to find us a place to meet? Maybe plot out a course to drive. We could do like we did in San Antonio. We meet at a park first talked for an hour or so and then went for a drive. We went to hooter to eat and then called it a day.
It took about 5hrs total.
That was pretty good but I would have liked to have done some more driving, I have to admit it was pretty cool with the 6 or 7 of us trolling down the free way. We definitely got peoples attention. It would be cool to get more people in this one.

 

well for planning im actually from temple so i dont know waco real well im just here for school....but theres a big parking lot next to a walmart that they always have car shows at ....so why not there...

 

OK so we have a place to meet! Now we just need course to drive, something curvy if you know what I mean . Then we need to try and get a few more people. And last a spot to eat, not to expensive just in case some are short on cash! I know my money tree wasn't looking to good the last time I looked at it!

There is another Green LX like mine by my apt and I think I will leave a letter on his front door, maybe if he sees that there is more to these cars than just low cost he will show up! I saw a blue MP3 around also so I'll keep my eye out for it also.
