Hello to those in Tulsa, and area.

Hi there,

I am in Tulsa for a couple of weeks, and am wondering what there is to do out here. I am visiting from Calgary, and will be in town until the 27th.

Thought this forum might be a good place to talk to some people from around Tulsa, or around Oaklahoma. I am looking for something to do over the weekend, and even in the week nights. After work all there is to do is watch crappy TV.

Hope to here from someone,

Chad.

The Low Down Show Down is this weekend (21st). It is taking place at Thunder Valley Speedway just south of Noble, OK (which is south of Norman-Home of those damn Sooners).

Anyway, if you are fond of cars, beers, and *****...you might want to check it out.

Hey thanks for the reply's. On Saturday I went over to Tulsa International to check out the Shelby Cobra's and all the drag racing that was taking place. It was pretty cool. On Sunday I went over to Skiatook Lake, which was really nice since we do not have that many lakes near Calgary. I love the mountains, but I was really missing the lakes.

I will be going to the Import night at Tulsa International on Wednesday as well. Just want to see what kind of turn out Tulsa gets for this sort of thing. I know in Calgary the turnout is quite poor.

I am loving the weather right now, a little warm for my liking but it is still nice. It has been raining for a week solid back home, so I am glad I am missing that.

Thanks again,

Chad.
