Dude...you didn't offend me...but I've seen forums go to war w/each other over pointless remarks....
And of course...if you know what 'IBTL' means...then you've probably seen or participated in a few. Coming from the DSM side of the world..those guys are usually all biz...so I still have that mentality...however...I'm working on curbing that.

And BTW....IBTL = In Before The Lock....which refers to the Mods locking threads up due to **** like ppl calling out other memmbers as ricers etc. I believe my first home [DSMtuners.com] actually does the auto-edit on Ricer...it was bad...I could type in monkeyshit and get away w/that....

I came to this site PRIMARILY to learn about my 5 and help spread what knowledge I might have....which isn't much....but I try.

So...in all honesty...I respect dude for at least putting forth the effort to do a write up...for all I know there might be a 1000 ppl out there that wanted to know HOW to do that...maybe not you...or I for that matter...but you never know.

It also lowers the shifter enough to make it more cumfortable resting your arm in the centre console. Plus, its just something slighly different.

 

isnt shifting your auto matic from 1 to 2 back and forth bad? thats how my car tore up is from shifting..had to replace CV shafts

 

Shifting back and forth is the same as everyday driving to me. You have no choice for autox, you have to shift from 1 to 2. Oh wait i guess you don’t HAVE to but if you put it in drive be prepared for it to shift at funny times or not have it shift at all when you want it to. If you put it in first it stays in first...duh, and if you put it in second it ONLY stays in second. Try taking off in second it funny cuz the tranny is locked in second. Locking it in first is good cuz you can keep the high rpms and get good torque out of the engine. I hit red line all the time. I will post a video I have of me with my auto at the track and you can see. I hope it works.
