way to ruin something good, discovery channel. how's about flipping the bird to sponsors to give audiences top rated, highly entertaining programming?

holy crap.... Johnny Fairplay will be a host?!?! WTF!!

p.s. Top gear rules. An american made version COULD be good or it could be garbage.

one thing Ialways HATED about top gear was they kept reviewing cars we'd never get here in the states and ignoring a lot of the cool cars we DO get here...like the MSP, SVT-focus, SRT4, etc.

i dont even know who johnny fairplay is and i already dont like the idea hehe.

to be fair, vast majority of the cars they talk about are europe specific models. i doubt if someone from the UK ever watched "2 Guys Garage" they would ever say "i wish those blokes would tell me how to boost my alfa romeo 156." but i agree i too would have liked to see them rail on an MSP or pwn an SVT with some dynamite. one thing clarkson is good for is blowing stuff to pieces. one of my earliest experiences with him involved shooting a remote controlled c4 corvette from a machine gun equiped helicopter and blowing it to pieces.

yeah, ive seen plenty of cars that I was wanting to try to get as soon as I become of age, but then again he always waits till the end to tell you they are only avalible in Europe, and then taunts you will all the cool stuff the car has...

Johnny Fairplay was on Survivor...he managed to convince everyone that his grandma was his whole world and she died just before he was about to kicked off the island...they let him stay and I think he ended up winning. Come to find out his grandma was alive and it was a trick to help him out if he ever thought he'd be in trouble.

IT WAS AWESOME.

He's a crappy person but very smart. I don't think he has ANY car knowledge though.

Mr Fairplay is an ***! LOL

I don't think the show will be all that though, but I'll be sure to check it out and make a comment.

Even though 99% of the cars they review will hardly ever see the light of day here, I still like to watch the show.

By the way, I have to say that Trinidad is coming of age. We have a Hummer here, only one and we're startin' to import porsches. We have the suvs on the road and there's one of the cars in the showroom but I don't know which one it is. I have to check it out.
