RX-8 / X-Men connection

Anyone else seen the ad for the RX-8 that ties into "X-men?" Apparently, they drive one in the movie (they showed Wolverine getting out of it). Seeing the movie tomorrow, so I guess I'll see what's up then.

Car looks great in the ad, though. Blue, with "X" rims (don't know how else to describe them).

There's lots of pics of it on the MazdaUSA website. I'd link you to it but I'm too lazy right now.

I saw the movie already. The RX-8 was used as an escape vehicle for some X-Men. Very nice exhuast note but the interior looked pretty cramp. Apparent advertising for sure since 4 people escaped so they had to choose the RX-8 instead of a motorcycle and a Aston Martin Vanquish and other goodies in the garage. And it also demostrated the CD player in the car.

IMO the movie's RX-8 looks a heck of a lot better than the Mazdaspeed RX-8. Whoever did that one's on drugs...and cheap ones.

Maybe they choose RX-8 over Martin Vanquish also in order to demostrated the RX-8 can sit 4 fully grown human being.

I just the movie just now.
The RX-8 sure looks great in the movie.
I don't think they need to make a seperate commercial for it, just play the movie clip with the RX-8 is good enough.

We've got a bunch of X-Men 2 Zip Zap stuff here at work. I don't know if you guys know what Zip Zaps are, but they are miniature remote control cars. I think the RX-8 we have is pretty sweet. These things are fun as hell to play with.

Zip-Zaps are Radio Shack's version of 'Bit Char-G' mini RC cars.

you should be able to pick one up at your local Radio Shack for $20.

here's mine

You can get chrome bodies for them also. They come in 2 different frequencies, and there are alot of accessories available for them.
