Can anyone explain why BOTH of these cars were photographed in the SAME place ... look at the building in the backgrounds!

Im gonna guess thats some Tuners building and they are working on both of those cars. Color pattern is *semi* the same etc. Who knows though, time will tell im sure.

my guess is that is where they had the last auto show in tokyo, which is where that rx8 was shown.

I would probably remove it to. I'm pretty sure that part of the visable plastic is from the air intake tract. The P5 has a bunch of plastic tubing for the intake. It looks much cleaner when replaced with an aftermarket unit. One benefit of the cover is that if you've done illegal things to your engine bay (turbo, remove cat, modify sensors, etc...) at least a cop can't see it.

Ya never know when you're gonna get pulled by the fuzz!
