Found a good deal on a 88 MX6 GT....i am familiar with how fast the car is, but not with any problems it may have.....anyone have advice on what to look for as far as it being NOT a good deal, supposed to be running good, with working A/C average mileage,turbo in good working order...I'm VERY familiar with Protege's but this MX-6 is a whole different can of worms

 

well i did it...bought the MX6...engine and tranny are GREAT!....no body damage however it is starting to get some cancer in the wheel wells since it is a NY car(salted roads)..think i can stop the dreaded rot though since it hasnt spread far.....car has serious power and i did some research...this car was underrated from the factory..it dynos stock at 148 hp at the wheels and a whopping 199 lb-ft of torque at the wheels!!!!....the best part of all!! i paid a whole $600 for the car!!! cant wait to get to work and up the boost!
