Official Mazda Media Site, Private website? Heres access to one page

I came across this site while surfing the net. If you click on the first link, it will display a huge amount of downloadable media in .eps format. Im not sure what this format is, since I have never heard of it. One thing tho, its very high quality!

BEWARE THO! If you have dial-up access, this page will be extremely slow, since it was somewhat slow on my cable connection.

http://www.media.mazda.com/photo_lib...t/index_e.html

After looking at that site, I went to

http://www.media.mazda.com/

I signed up, and it gives you access to tons of pics and media! The downside is that there isnt much North American stuff on the site. If anyone knows a North American site like this, please post the link.

Here are some samples of what is on the site, NOTE: I saved these in jpg format, at a lower resolution, but the files on the site are high resolution/quality.

P.S. I did a search to see if someone posted this link, but no results came up. Please dont flame me if this isnt a new find. Thanks

I am using Adobe Photoshop to view/edit those files. I think ACDSEE allows you to view the files also. www.acdsee.com

Im suprised there arent more replys for this thread, I think this site is pretty cool, even tho its mostly European and Japanese Mazdas...

I found that there is a Mazda Media site for US. It is a link from http://media.ford.com Then there are links to all of Fords' others manufacturers like Aston, Jaguar, Volvo, and Mazda. I suggest you guys check it out. Here is a direct link to a log on window. All you have to do is sign up, it is free.

Hmm, I never thought to look there. I guess Ford has a tight hold on Mazda USA. Lets hope that it doesnt show in future Proteges.

Well, Ford is somewhat going to. I was reading today (click here for the article) that Ford and Mazda will be sharing many platforms together. For example, Mark Fields said that the next generation Protege, Mazda 3, will be having the same platform as Ford Focus. Though, Mazda is in charge of desighning the powerplants. I read in a separate article (click here for the article) that Mazda is developing the next line of inline-4s (I am sure it has been talked about before, the next 1.8, 2.0, and 2.3 Liters), and Ford is charge of putting the engines in their cars world wide. I do not know if Mazda is going to bring Demio to the US, but Mark Fields did refer to it as Mazda 2, and it would "heavily" share parts with new Fiesta. How ever, I hope that the next generation Pro, if it is still going to be called that, will not look like Focus. Though the next Miata and RX-8 are true Mazdians!

i personally doubt that the focus and protege will look similar. ford and mazda have shared platforms in the past, and the two cars looked nothing alike. also, ford shares platforms currently with jaguar, and none of those cars look anything alike. the whol eidea of sharing platforms only means a reduction in driveline development and production cost, which could mean sharing motors suspension and maybe floor panels. i can see the next protege looking very sporty, while the next focus looking very bland.

Thats exactly what I meant. Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type do not look alike in any matter. I hope the next gen Pro does look sporty, Mazda still is using Zoom-Zoom as their advertisement theme. I see nothing zooming about Focus any way. Ford got really like the US crowd got to like it, cuz it is a true European Car. If you compare it to the looks of the new Mondeo, Fiesta sold in Europe and you will see similarities. In the Ford line-up in the US there are no cars what so ever that look like Focus. I would not be surprised if next Focus looks will based on those from next gen Pro.

Did anyone sign up for the Ford media site and recieved an email? When I signed up for the Mazda media site, I recieved my login information within seconds of registeration. Maybe they actually research your credentials on Ford site.

Let me know... thanks

I got a confirmation from Ford in a few hours. I tried to get access to the photos, but I did not qualify for the media requirements. Come to think I have a website, with more then 1200 wallpapers, and more 10k hits a month. I will try to plea my case, but what ever happens, happens. Try other media sites. GM has one also with no pictures, but diamlerchrysler one has all kinds of pictures.

Did you check of the "accredited media" box on registration? I did, and I put a bogus company name. It may work...or may not... lets see what happens.
