I'm new to this board so this information is not provided to take any sides, rather just my informed input.

My Uncle works for Ford Canada in the Oakville production plant (He's a 37 year employee) He gave my mom (His sister) an A-plan pin number so that she could buy a new Protégé (As the A-plan applies to immediate family). Dealer cost (Invoice) is definitely different than factory invoice price (Which the A-plan is based on). My mother got her Mazda Protégé at factory invoice cost which is below dealer invoice. We have bought 2 other Mazda cars using this same method.

I'm not trying to dispute the amount of discount on the 6 ($3000, $1500, $1 I've never bought one) but dealer invoice and factory invoice are two very different things.

Remember this information has 37 years of experience behind it.

Peace

I have the official Mazda documentation in front of me. It is for all Mazda Canada, its the same for all regions. There are no plans to buy under dealer invoice. The X-plan is 4% OVER DEALER INVOICE. If your dealer told you differently they LIED.

Sorry but you are definitely wrong!

If you are a Mazda salesperson (Which I don't dispute or care to dispute) have you ever heard of holdback. Most cars have a 2-4% hold back that the factory puts on it (Which the A-plan purchaser does not pay). Plus you have factory to dealer rebates/incentives and factory to customer rebates/incentives that have to be discounted off the dealer invoice.

I really don't care about what you think you have in front of you, or what you think you know for that matter. I seriously doubt that you have been a salesperson of Mazda for anywhere close to 37 years, thus making the information I received much more credible. Plus how would you explain the fact that we have already purchased Mazda vehicles in this fashion? Was I dreaming? I think not!

Maybe it's time for a new job? You're obviously not very good at your present one.

Peace

One more thing...if you have the documentation post it! I'm sure you'll have a good excuse for not doing so.

Peace

I think the most important thing is the different between US and Canada. Saskpro is right for his information. But US may be different.

I was wondering how much juice I should drink before joining this pissing contest? I don't want to run out half way through this pointless argument.

All this is very interesting, but, as a salesperson for a Mazda dealer in Canada I do know for a FACT that x-plan is 4% over dealer invoice while a-plan is dealer invoice plus $325. No holdback is in effect in Canada a dealer may have a pad but that has nothing to do with what the car sells for. All the people who think they are lot lawyers should stay home and let a professional discuss pricing. If you think you can buy a car at or below invoice then you are a better person than me, as an employee of a dealership I can't buy a car at or below invoice. Take this the way you would liked but I DO know what i'm talking about.

Performance,

You can't win an argument with a 14 year old. Facts are meaningless to them. Thats why I quit responding. But, hey if you have some extra energy to burn go right ahead

Hmmm

Ford != Mazda
Therefore ford and mazda pricing plans are different for their respective employees.

Canada != USA
Therefore they have different price plans
