Mazda 3 Questions

Just wondering. When the new '3' eventually replaces the Pro, will it be part of these forums? Will it dictate a possible name change for Protege Club? Does anyone think the new 3 with the 2.3-4 will be faster than the current MSP? Inquiring minds need to know!

Mazda3 performance

The Mazda6 with the 2.3L runs 0-60 in the high 7 sec range with the right driver, which is waaaay faster than a P5. The Mazda3 will be 100-200lbs lighter depending on the model, so yes it will be faster than the existing Protege.
