I wouldn't worry about it. I'd be willing to bet that none of those ricers has modded any more than bolting on neons.
As a diehard toyota fan (rear wheel Toyotas that is) I'm very disappointed in what they've offered since '86/'87, when the Celica went FWD. Then the Supra's prices went through the roof, excluding "Averageman" from owning one.
Anyway, , you'll never be able to change their thinking. What you should've done was try to go in there and capitalize on their ignorance by selling them the **** they desire!!

*sigh* another stab at neons..how suprising..

I kinda liked the older model FWD celicas, not sure what year, perhaps 90's? I saw on in sport compact car mag. once, looked good engine and body wise, aside from the flames, but was pretty cool, i wouldnt mind having one myself..

Those early 90's Celicas are HUGE looking. I liked them too, but they really needed to be rear/AWD.

Haha, it's ok, he's used to it--he knows we all still love him even if his neons r dum.

On to other things, as promised. Wish the weather was better but there a snowstorm heading in and so, not the best pic...still good for a laugh, I hope.

True, now only if Mazda3 prices (for used) could get down the price of the Corolla S, maybe I could afford a Mazda3...anyone have an "S" they want to sell me for $12K?
