I/m new here, so I don't know where to post this...

The air hose leading to my engine has a nice big hole in it. I ignored it but my engine has been stalling in idle and the spark plugs are getting carbon deposits. And I CANNOT find a replacement one. I've tried NAPA, Auto zone, and about a dozen online stores and NOBODY has an air hose for a 93 protege. Does anybody know where I can get one? Am I going to have to go to a junkyard and strip one off of a wreck? Any suggestions?

I'd hit the junkyard. It'll be cheaper that way.

 

wrap that rascal in electrical or duct tape until you find one. It is bypassing the air filter (bad)

 

I'd do tha same thing. Or get one from a '94. Both engines are basically the same.
