WHP on BPT 1st gen

anyone know what the first gens put down to the wheels with just a GTX BPT swap? Thanks.

there is no way to determine how much hp you will make with a turbo engine unless you talk about boost levels.

At 0psi (atmospheric pressure) the BPT will probably make around 90-100 whp. move up to 5 psi, and it makes about 140-150ish, move up to 8 psi, and you are looking at 160-170ish. At 15psi, i've seen people with over 220whp with stock internals, and only bolt on mods.
Here is a quote from a few days ago from Wil. These are wheel horsepower not crank, that is why they are lower.

well in my mx-3 at the stock psi i got 162hp and 165tq.

Why havent many people use thed i/c?? Im prolly gonna fab up the isuzu intercooler its 26"x14"x5" its freaking humongeous (sp) but it does a great job and i like big *** fmic.

Humongous.

What is that intercooler out of? One of their diesel medium-duty trucks?

Dude theres no way you will fit that on your protege unless you go without a bumper. It doesn't even seem like I have enough room for my 22"x9"x3" IC to fit behind my stock bumper. That's why I went with the EVO kit. I would go with the Mitsu Starion IC if I were you.
