Question turbo compatability

I am waiting for the Mazdaspeed Protege to be
released to check the compatability to the 1.8.
Does anyone know the compatability for parts made
for the 2.0 engine to the 1.8? Including exhaust
and susp. upgrades. Thanx!

The suspensions are entirely compatible. The only difference between the 1.8LO and 2.0L engine compartments is they use different transaxles with slightly different dimensions. Things like intake and exhuast plumbing may or may not line up exactly, but should be very close. Exhust manifold and other parts that bolt directly to the engines will fit either displacment engine.
