Question for the wise

Does anyone know if we can use a intake manifold from a Mazda MX-3 Turbo on the 01 2.0L engines?

the mx-3 never came turbo and had a 1.6l 4cyl or a 1.8l v6. i doubt it would fit on a 2.0 l engine. could be wrong but i doubt it would fit.

Wasn't the MX-6 turbo a 2.2L like the early Ford (****)-probe? I thought they were a sister act. I do know the (****)-probe was a 2.2L for the 1st gen, and then a 2.0L early edition of our F-motors in the 2nd gens. The 2nd gens were never turboed.
If it was a 2.2L, then I wouldn't work, because the engines are very different.

Here's a great page that shows interchange information for Mazdas. It's biased towards the Miata, but it does show the engines for the Proteges and the 626.

Mazda interchange info

According to that page, the FS series has a closer bore spacing than the F2 used in the Probe/626. Thus, the manifolds won't fit.
