good luck man, the only places that i know u might have a change is www.barelylegaltransplants.com or corksport. other than that u might have to run a haltech.

the gtx ecu will not work in your car. you need to use the haltech.
call corksport for more info.

I don't see why a GTX harness couldn't be modified with the help of his existing harness to create a modified harness that'll allow the use of a GTX ecu and motor in his car. I had a friend modify my GTR harness with the use of parts from my stock LX harness. I am currently running a GTR ecu and motor in my 91 LX with no problems.

he has a 2nd gen. not a 1st gen. it won't work with his electronics and gauges. unlike 1st gens his are completely digital.

btw, your car won't pass SMOG. all cars 96+ have to pass by having the station connect to the car's OBD2 sensor underneather the dash. having a GTX ecu and or even a haltech standalone. eliminates the functionality of that sensor they contect to.

cars olders than 96 only have to worry about the tail pipe sniff.

no need to worry if you regester in a county that doesn't have smog regulations. >=) but if not then you are screwed and can't get your tags.

A little while ago I was looking for the ECU. Found one from an Australian autowrecker. Bruce can be contacted through here formazpartsplus@bigpond.com.au .

The cost was $500 Australian and includes ECU, Harness, and he'll even throw in a knock control unit.

Keep in mind he takes a while to respond to e-mail.
