leanin out

I put a 50 shot of NOS on my car (NOS holly) Dry shot . Ok I have a Auto 1.8. Before I sprayed I put a rich /lean gaudge right on my sterring colunm so I could keep a eye on it. I installed the kit myself and I have it set to spray only when I press the button(no micro switch) cause I don't want to let of the gas and don't want to spray on the converter. My problem is after first gear it leans out so i let of the spray. is there any think I can do to richin it up?
I bought a fuel press reg will that help I haven't put it on yet. Has any one put one on yet? was it hard? Dose any one have pics of how to do it?
Thanks
Tim

what kind of gauge are you using? you may very well be running lean but, I don't put a great deal of stock in the digital autometer types. What fuel pressure regulator did you get? This may fix your problem if your stock fuel pump and injectors aren't a limiting factor.

Yes there is a way to Make the mixture rich...Get a Second Solenoid set it up for fuel...Than you can Make the mixture as lean or rich as you want...

Basically what i am saying is convert it into a WET KIT!!
It should not cost you more than 1-200 dollars...U can purchase the parts..at www.ebay.com

Otherwise...You can not make it rich!

Good Luck..and remember Lean Conditions Leads to the Root of all Damages to our Protege's!
