not trying to sound like a dick, but there's a "forced induction/nitrous" sub-forum

check that out for a lot of info on turbos for proteges.

man go and put an exust sytem on it.. for around $200 you can get a good exust, it will give you a tone and more power. a performance place told me that an exust is the best amount of power for your dollar..

since this is the forced induction area i'll entertain the turbo idea. Get One!!! Besides nitrous you will get the most power/dollar. Albeit you will have to spend close to $3500 to get it. If you plan to get a turbo kit don't buy an exhuast now b/c you will just have to replace it with a wider diameter turbo exhaust later. There are a bunch of kits out there:

HiBoost (www.hiboost.com )
Spool (www.spool-turbo.com )
BEGI / Flyin Protege (aka Flyin Miata) (www.flyinmiata.com/protege/)
