i saw a gt wit a turbo. how hard is it to put a turbo on my pro gen1

Yes he's referring to the Homer Simpson line of protege engines that were produced for a slight few years.

If you have a 1G LX Protege then you have the "d'oh" engine. The turbo kits will fit. You're looking at roughly $5000 for a decent running setup.

Yes it is, but it's a great start if you want to do it right. I'm pretty sure that price includes the Haltech (engine management) which is about $1000+ just itself. To have a really good running system, it's going to cost you unfortunatley.

you can do some of the work yourself instead of taking it to a shop and thus save $$$

He's got a Canadian LX so just a SOHC, will cost a bit more!

Very close!

Have to figure out the Dash/Fuel pump wiring on the harness. Other than that, the Transmission is back this weekend. So the motor should be in this weekend.
Run the intercooler piping etc..
Struts and springs,
Fire it up hopefully by next week
Get the Exhaust welded up and SMILE
