can it handle my bp motor???

i am thinking of shooting NOS 50 SHOT WET SYSTEM on my BP motor.. 1.8L dohc 92 protege engine...here's wut i have on y engine...pace setter header, k and n cone filter, magnecore 8.5 mm wires,
compression is still in spec, checked the vacuum, still in spec.
sohc tranny, stock clutch. IF UR GONNA TELL ME NOT TO SHOOT NOS BECAUSE NOS IS THIS AND NOS IS THAT! DON'T POST ANYTHING HERE... I HAVE HAD BEEN SHOOTING NOS FOR 2 YEARS WITH MY CIVIC AND HONDA I KNOW IT CAN TAKE IT BUT MAZDA IM NOT SURE...

whoa sprayed with a civic and a honda . Unless i missed something yea its "safe" to spray half your horsepower, someone on the board was spraying a 75 shot in the bp, but most people stay with 50.

Damn!!! 75 shot? now thats alot for a stock internal. Im thinking of 50 shots since i have a stock internal....for some reason i like the gear ratio on my 323 tranny so i aint planning on doing a lx tranny swap maybe later on in the future...Do u guys think the 50 shot single fogger wet system nos wont damage my tranny? thanks for all the replies.

damn A 50 shot is exactly what you need. I really can't see any reason why the BP can't stand up to the NOS.. If anything it should stand up to it better than most Honda motors.

Go for IT ... !!!!

wut can i say? of course u guys r gonna be talking crap about honda motors cuz u never own one and this is a mazda forum.
In my experience with the bp motor for 4-5 months i dont have anycomments to it . its running good. but then again its only been months since i had the engine and its stock. On my civic before i've had nos for two years and i was shooting nos almost every stop lite everyday and it was my daily driven car that i use for long driving too...never had problems with the honda motors.
and toyota motors.
I just hope it will take 50 shot cuz im getting it as soon as i get my throttle body.
but then again it dont really matter if i blow my engine or not cuz mazda engine is hella cheap compare to hondas. $200 for mazda bp dohc. $1,XXX for a honda engine.

well you can thank movies and magizines for the price differance. I hate on honda engines not because this is a mazda forum, i hate on honda engines on the honda board i goto. The ones i have played with were crappy, i cant speak for the internals and such but theres gotta be a reason we dont require forged everything to start tunning...

Honda engines tend to have some high compression ratios .. which is good for the NA power , but for Boosting and NOSing, it is not great..
why do you think people always mate a LS BLock with a Vtec Head and slap on a Trubo
