BOV and wastegate

Alrighty. How do you plump up the wastegate and BOV. I am not sure but does a tube from the BOV goto wastegate? And if i want a boost controller, that just goes in the middle? Thanks so much.

Read through the forum... There is a post within the last 60 days, 'A few turbo related ?'s' that basically has the answer there. There was a diagram, but i dont have the address handy. I'm still learning this stuff too, just search, the answers are out there...

there will be a semi-small but long hose that goes from the turbo to the black metal intake pipe leading off the tb. you put the boost controller between that hose, just get an exention or cut that hose in two. for the bov, just drill a hole into that black intake pipe and weld the bov onto it. for a waste gate same thing, but make sure the outlet of the wastegate is pointed to the intake hose that connets to the vaf, your gonna need to get that wastegate blown back into the intake behind the vaf somehow. im currently running a eclipse wastegate, and i have a hose that connects from the wastegate to the intake pipe. some how your gonna need to be creative and find a way.

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/sob...23+GTX&.view=t this picture should help you out of the wastegate and hose that connects to the intake.

a wealth of misinformation.

the bov is located between the i/c and the tb. if you're running a vaf/maf, it needs to be vented back into the intake piping before the turbo and after the maf/vaf.

the wastegate needs a boost reference to work properly. you can take it off the intake piping, or off the back of the intake manifold. if using a boost controller, it goes in between the reference and wastegate. you DO NOT plumb the wastegate back into the intake system.

Yeah thats what I thought. About the BOV, the one I have vents into the atmoshpere, but there is a nipple on the top that i assume will plumb before the turbo? If anyone has any ictues, it would be great.

the nipple on the bov needs a boost/vac reference, therefore should be connected to the back of the intake manifold.

not unless you can find a way to connect the outlet of the bov to the intake pipe.
