Hello all,

I am new to this particular board, but am a regular over at www.protegemp3.com/www.mazdamp3.com... As most of you with MP3s are already aware, there is a serious discrepancy between MP3s as far as the stereo head units go. About 60% of the MP3 owners received Kenwood Z919 head units while all Canadians, US yellows, and some newer production US blues have received the far superior Z828.

I have started a petition to get everyone the Z828 head unit. Now, I realize the chance of Mazda North America replacing about 800 stereos is very slim, but I feel very strongly about this and believe a strong turnout stand a chance. Also, complaints to Mazda North America would be a good thing (educated complaints only please ).

Yes, like I said, I realize this. But first off, this is quite a difference between automobiles. The difference in price alone is about $300, plus the $300 people will have to spend to get an alarm system. If I had a detachable face, I would not spend the extra money on an alarm... But I'll probably be forced to now. There's nothing wrong with trying though!
