That's right Gro!!! Ur not the only one that runs into cool/cheap stuff!!! (joke)
LOL
IIRC there are only 2 bolts per side holding the arms to the trunk lid. Remove all 4 bolts and the trunk lid is in your hands. Now replace just 2 of the 4 bolts and add a hinge. But i suspect alignment of the trunk lid may be difficult, as it will add alittle more than 1/4" of height...doesn't really seem to add any more access, in fact seems to hinder it. Also, if you have a rear spoiler, better wear a brain bucket (helmet).
hmmm
where would i add the hinge? where the other two bolts would go? i still don't understand... im an idiot.
as far as access, i don't really care, its for a car show coming up. im just going to take it back off after the show.

Hmm, so wait. The parts are already in the trunk? You just need to take two bolts off and add a hinge? Hmm can someone explain this better???????????? Like what types of parts you'll need, etc

I want to do that! I own a 2000 pro' and want to do something different to it. What kind of hinges do I need? Which hole do you use for the hinges, the top or bottom hole? Let me know. THANKS

I'm just curious how it works
