XM FM Mod 12V power source

Hello again,

I have 03 Mazda Pro 5 and currently installling the MF mod in the car. Lets make this short....Where do I plug the 12v line to? Can I plug it in the head unit harness? or any 12 v power source?

How do i tap into the 12v cigarette lighter?

What do I need to take off to reach the cigarette lighter?

Where else can I get the 12 V power? My car is a mess right now

. I hate doing these things to a brand new car.

it my be different on my 97, but i just stuck my finger in the hole, bent my finger and pulled, the silver piece comes out about an inch or so, the rotate the hole thing till the pins line up with the gooves (these are on the back and you can't see) and then it comes right out.
