Question Working with fiber glass

Guys iv'e been thinking on making a fiber glass subwoofer mount for my trunk.
Problem is i have no experience working with the stuff. My uncle has and he could problably help me out. But any help would be most appreciated. Like any tips on how to measure the trunk and how to mold for a snug fit or any links.

Thanks in advance

Chris

To mold cover the surface very very well and apply fiberglass directly, then pull it out once it's cured. Then build the mounts for the speaker and stretch the cloth across to form the face of the enclosure, soak with resin, then begin glassing, then attach the front and back pieces together with more 'glass. Or just make an MDF base and a 'glass front. To measure, use a tape measure.
