Wiring in Guages

I have boost, a/f and an EGT guage that i need to get power to. It says wire into a 12v source that is hooked to the ignition so it is only on when the car is on. I am having the worst time finding these wires. I have looked trough my chilton like a million times and blown the main fuse in the process. I have a 91 EGT, so its pretty similer to the pro. HELP

Blue large guage wire, main ignition harness coming from ignition switch down the collum and under the dash. Once the lower dash panel is removed, the main harness has easy access.

I'm also considering installing a few gauges on my dash. ( tach, voltage, oil P water etc. ) Will installing these gauges drain alot of power from my dash? Also will having these gauges cause a problem in the future?

If you don't want to argue with the wires coming from the ignition harness, the power to your cigarette lighter is a good source, that's what I used for my lighted toggle switches and radar detector.
