hey i just was on the wingswest website and i was looking at the two protege kits, and i noticed that they are pictures of 2 entirely different cars, one which was originoly an MP3 and one that was a standard protege, i notice this because one has a sun roof and one doesnt, so i think we can assume that WW is well aware of the front rebar qquestion and probaly has a means to fix it

 

No. They are both MP3's.

They swapped LX headlights into the yellow one.

And it also says MP3 on the yellow one.

And of course the blue one is also an MP3.

Yes they can.

Sunroofs were a dealer installed option in lots of dealers.

You are trying to tell me that they bought an ES, swapped on the MP3 grill, the Racing Harts, added the side fender markers, the foglights, and the MP3 exhaust? Oh and painted the entire car Laser Blue Mica of the MP3.

They're both the same body kit. The only difference is that the one on the blue is the "toned-down" version of the one applied to the yellow. The kit is designed for the MP3, which is a kitted '01 Protege.

With the right adjustments, this body kit will fit any 3rd Gen.

ok, i went and check out the cars, and there is no way to know if either car is an mp3 unless you know what the vin number is! just becuase the yellow one says mp3 on it, does not really mean it is an mp3. it's a decal! (or paint) plus it's been painted. and i can't see wings west making a body kit only for the mp3 and not the regular pro when there is only 1500 mp3's and even fewer owners that want to modify thiers.

and as for the blue one, if it was an mp3 then the mirrors would be all blue, not blue and black like seen here:

It would be retarded for them to do that much work to get a regular Pro. to look like the MP3. It's just not feasible.

And it doesn't make sense for WW to put MP3 on a regular Protege if it's not an MP3. The yellow one is owned by Mazda. So they put it on there.

And for god's sake it will fit a regular Protege. That needn't be said once again.
