I like the design/look of the wheel...with ONE exception....this type wheel has what appears as a double 5 bolt pattern for universal mounting on multiple bolt patterns....by the additional material being GONE from the center hub of the wheel...it weakens it in this area.....I don't like that. so personally....although I like the look....I would NOT buy rims made like that.

I have a universal bolt pattern on my Enkei's. Now come on can anyone honestly say that they've broken a wheel due to this?

A lot of high end race wheels ive seen have this area machined out anyway. Except they cut slots and not additional lug holes. I guess its a small weight savings? Like this Racinghart wheel for example...

Well I guess it depends how you drive the car...

For daily driving, then you're right, I wouldn't think it's an issue at all. The things you should worry are bending your wheels going over potholes or scratching them while trying to parallel park

But if you're into professional racing and do high G turns all the time, it might be a weak spot. But then if you're that professional, you wouldn't use such wheels in the first place...

IMO they're pretty hot! More than likely they aren't going to be used for professional rally racing or anything remotely like that, so the wheel breaking doesn't become as much of an issue. I think they'd look awesome, personally, it would DEFINITELY attract my attention anyway if I saw a Pro5 with them.

Yeah. They should look real good.

They only come in 7.5 width for the 17's. But it has a 45mm offset, so it SHOULD be fine. But I'd check with Rishie.

sounds good, thanks for all the feedback everybody.

Im debating really hard. i kinda like em, and theyre pretty tight, but some people dont, and i guess its whatever make you happy you know? i was gonna go with Konig Tantrums type style, but thats pretty common, i mean everyone does that these days. I think these rims were different and they look pretty hard. at the same time though, a lot of people dont like them, not only from the pole but friends and what not. So i dunno, im getting rims in may, so i need to look around some more and decide soon

I think im gonna go with Volk Racing Sebring ITC-S rim pending rishies approval. i want 18's and they only come in 18x7.5, however, they have a +52 offset available. and thats supposed to be good right? the rim is supposedlt light too but im not sure(can anyone confirm this?). Heres a url..
