I have the stock gray ones in my car right now, but I wanna switch them to black(Protege) ones. Now, Mazdastuff has them in black but only for the ES models. Will the ES still fit the LX? And are they the same from the dealer? Thanks.

They are the same. Just different colors. You could also get the MP3 floor mats and maybe even the MazdaSpeed ones.
