So, we have all seen the pciture of the purple pro on hydros from the Carabien with the ever elusive ALL CLEAR TAILIGHTS.
Well, I met up on the weekend with a guy from Toronto who owns a shop called "Team Mazdastyle". This shop is an EXCLUSIVE GLC/323/Protege/5 shop that imports and distributes all kinds of JDM/EDM parts as well as rare parts.
Well, he tols me that he imports the all clear tails directly from the Carabian and sell them here. They are WAY pricey at $450 USD/pair, but, if you have the money, well worth it. There is NO website/email (he says hed be answering emails all day if he did), but, here is the contact info:

h**y f*****g s**t i've been wanting those since i saw them... any idea if they will be available for a while... since i'm buying the jspec bumper / cf hood / and a set of rims and tires right now i dont have the 450 on hand but will definanlty buy them as soon as i do

 

i talked to the guy that owns the purple protege that you see on zhaust at the trinituner forum which is based in the carribean and he says that he didn't buy them they don't make those lights over there, he used a chemical to strip the color from the stock lenses.


But hey kdawg see if the guy from that shop will give you a pic of those lights.

 

did he happen to mention what chemical he used? cause if that is all you have to do i'd rather do that... otherwise i'll have to wait like a year to get them

 

he couldn't remember the chemical, he just said use a stripper type chemical but don't rub the surface to hard or you'll cause the light to be hazzy

 

450 ,,, for gods sake that's a lot of money.. I think I rather the jspec tails or just stick with factory with custom spray paint
