i heard that radar detectors are not only illegal, but somehow the cops can tell if u have one, some kinda sensor that tells em u have one, didnt make sense to me at te time, but hey just wonderin

There are like 100 total cops here no need for one. But when I return to states I was thinking of getting one. Didnt know placement makes a difference on detection.

well if its in that place it won't detect jack ****.. LOL it needs a window, laser light will pass through glass and also its easier for radar waves too, radar waves won't pass through metal

read the instruction manuel (not intented to be an ******* thing to say) it will tell you where to place it for best results and it will also explain why you have to put it there
