I just had a AutoEXE front lip installed on my Protege5, and it looks EXCELLENT (yellow car w/black lip) anyway, does anybody know just how much the spliter (lip) should "stick out" from the front air dam assembly?

Mine lip shows a 1/2" distance from the air dam.

To the above post: NO, I did NOT paint my lip, it came Black and I installed it Black.

My question was "how much should the "lip" stick out from the front dam?
