Both those last ideas are really good, thanks!

Damn I love the look of those 5th gen Accords!!!! If only they had some *****, but they suck it hard in the performance department...

Keep 'em coming, every post is as constructive as the last!!

Thanks!!

i got the whole job on my car done for 2,500 (US currancy) that included all my body work, putting on my kit and painting it... its 2 coats of primer, 5 coats of base, and 3 coats of clear coat. i wanted to get a pearl but i didnt have the funds. i still think my (our car) tooks so nasty with that kit on it, even though i got shafted when i baught it for 1,300... but hey thats the price you pay for the tres... and to protegeDX that colour does look pritty good. i always thought jet black 323s with tinted out windows looks cool(i saw a kivik with a white mesh on his kit, looked good with the black)

I found some. Porche, btw, has 3 shades of blue. Midnight Blue Metallic, Lapis Blue Metallic, and Cobalt Blue Metallic.

Lapis Blue Metallic

I was going to vote for red, but only if it's a nice, deep, wine-color. Maybe with some flake to it. Mmmmmm.... I wish I had a good example, but take a nice red wine, add some sparkle, and there you go. It looks good with a tan interior, and it doesn't look like a friggin traffic cone (aka that one I saw at Carlisle this year).

If I change to blue, I'll might go with the Lapis Blue.

Otherwise, Ferrari Silver -- I'm picturing this sort of color scheme:

only with more red in the interior (door panels and seats in red and black, black carpert).. That silver is the same as the s2000 and I know of a shop near me that does an amazing job of it... What do you all think of this idea?

Otherwise, I'd go with a darker red with a metal flake in it (like maybe Saab Merlot red, or 98-up Honda Milano red).

Then again, the consensus seems to be (and it's not a bad idea...) that I should keep the money for the turbo. Thing is, I need a back bumper and I have to re-paint the front kit, so economically, I might as well re-paint the whole car at the same time so I don't pay for painting the bumpers twice....

By the way, pro5girlie, please enter your vote for red on the poll, so I remeber to take it into account.

It's not that I'm going to base my decision solely on what you all like best, but then again, if I'm building a show car, I won't paint it a color that only I like.... It has to be fashionable, so I'm counting on you guys as my market for research .

Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but under other, so far there's blue and silver, right?

One last thing..... I thought of installing a VW Corrado speed adjustable wing while I was at it with the bodywork.... hmmm...

Thanks.

I love that Honda Milano Red. I'm thinking of painting my car that color. I think it would look nice.
