What color calipers?

I've got a '02 black mica ES and was looking to paint my calipers. i just don't know what color. I was wondering if anyone else out there has painted theirs and what colors and how it came out.

thanks

I have a black P5 and i painted my Calipers red. It looks very nice . I could take some pics and show you if you wanna see.

But i would suggest getting a bright red color .

Depends what colours you want to do everything else...you can do the bright red which seems to be the standard now, or you could go a nice deep Yellow, or even a bright Blue colour. If you want something funky you could try neon green...or even white might look nice (get dirty quickly though).

What ever you do I would sugget sticking with that colour, for example if you pick yellow, then I'd paint the letter on my engine block yellow, get yellow hosing, and if you are doing a CAI get a yellow one.

I've got a Silver ES and am going for the not so popular Silver with Black accents (stock look I guess) so I will probably do my calipers black.

I did mine black (semi gloss). Of course I like the understated look. It just makes it look nice and clean. No rust. I figure when I get Wilwoods or something like it I will want the calipers to be something other than black. Silver is a nice understated and clean looking color to use also. Just make sure you do a good job and actually take the brake pads and hardware out before painting. Makes it look much much better.

Good luck with whatever you choose

hmm...has anyone tried a gold? someone suggested it to me but i can't seem to visualize it. i think it has the potential to come out really nice...but it could also turn out to be absolutely hideous

i would go with silver on black...like NegatiZE said silver matches everything so it's ok, and plus silver on black looks sharp...also red would be good....silver or red

I'd have to agree with gaspo...red,yellow,or blue would look good on black

I have a black PR5 and I'm thinking of doing mine deep yellow, because I went to the university of Iowa and our colors are black and gold (yellow really). My questions are, what is the procedure for doing this, what tools do I need, how long will it take, and what kind of paint do I need?

My turn...I've got a Silver ES and am going to paint mine soon. I was originally thinking of doing a nice shiny black (same at the lettering on my engine). I wanted to stick with the silver (aluminum) and black theme for my car, but recently I have been thinking of doing just my calipers, and maybe some of the wiring in my engine bay blue...like the flecks in the stock seating. Just sort of as a third colour to accent the silver and black.

You guys think that would look hype, or shyt or what? All ideas, and suggestions are welcome.

ye I have a white pro

I was gonna hit up a silver and white theme on my pro

something like this

keep the body white, hit up a silver mirrory tint, and get some silver rims, and paint the calipers white (need regular cleaning if i was to do that)
I'm also gonna get altezzas, cuz they look pretty alrite on that type of theme.

or shoudl i paint the calipers red to match the altezzas red circles, it will kinda bring the both out

so what yall think

can someone with photoshop experience hook me up with an edited picture of both my themes, I'll get some pics soon
