Question What are the best and brightest H4 bulbs?

I own a 2000 pro' and the bulbs for the headlights are H4's. I already swapped out the stock bulbs for Sylvania Cool Blue Xenon bulbs, but I'm not very satisfied with them, not to mention that I payed around $35 for the pair!!! I would like it if any of you guys could point me to nice and bright h4 bulbs. I would like to spend a maximum of $35. I also would like a blue tinted bulb. Can any of you recommend any bulbs? THANKS!

The best and brightest probably come from PIAA at around $75 a pair....but i (and Mitch, P5online) found the Falcon bulbs quite good. There is some info on my site (automediazone link below) and on the www.protege5online.com site about them.

I run the 9004's and H3's on my 1st gen and i can see VERY well now. A good set of driving lights (which Falcon also makes) will also dramatically improve visibility. I bolted up a set of the 557 lights w/100watt H3's, and dude, it's plenty bright.

I'm sure others will comment, but the Falcons fall under your $35 limit.

I agree about the PIAA's. I find them very bright. And the Plasmablues I have, have a very nice blue tint too them. Not too much to look cheap, but just enough.

But yes, they are pricey.

I have PIAA SuperWhites as well and would recommend them to anyone. They are very nice, but expect to pay $75 for them(I did).
