Dont mix sub sizes!!! Just go with either 2 12's or 2 15's. You can get very loud with dual 12's. Look around on my www i have several setups sub wise might give you an idea or two.

wuts with mixing sizes? i dont kno its my opinion so dont go crazy on me, but i think its freakin ugly, i wish i saved this picture with this car having all different sizes of subs, and all different brands, and this guy was so proud of it! well its all on u, but my opinion is that its so freakin ugly, if u want some real knock get one kicker solo x, its like 18 inches and the rms is at 10000 watts, yea thats rite, ten thousand, or jus get a pair of solobarics, kickers are one of the loudest subs out there and theres always JL audio clean sound plus great knock, but reely pricey

Dude trust me dual higer model 12's ported with around 1200 rms to the pair can get awsomely loud!! If you need louder then mine your are F#%ken crazy!!!!!! I cant sit in mine more than 15 seconds or my ears start to hurt thats with music!!!!!! Get dual 12's port and you will be supprised oh and subs only make up like 40% of the setup i would say its like %60 install if you do it wrong with 4 12's, 2 12's & 1 15 im sure you wont be happy do it right the first time period!!!!!

Sure if you want zero trunk space and have plenty of juice to push them. If you build a box right then you won't have to do all of that! I heard BlueLEDz, the moderator for car audio over at www.clubprotege.com and his single 10 is louder than some with dual 15s. Just tell him what kind of subs you have and he can give you the dimensions for a box including port size for the most bass out of whatever driver you use. He built my boxes for my 12s. I am very satisfied with the results

any reputable person, as i've learned quite first hand, will tell you, it's not the size of sub that matters, what matters is your box design and your sub and amp selection and how well they compliment each other. your car doesn't have the ***** to produce the amperage and consistant voltage to run 4 subs in any sort of 'impressive' manor. if anything, i'd just recommend a good pair of 12 inch elemental k series subs and a power acoustik class d, or possibly a jbl mono block amp.. good subs and good amps for the money.
peace

That is not what women will tell you! You hear the saying, "It's not the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean?" Well how are you going to get to England from the US, by a row boat?

No I agree...You can make a tricked out box that will make a 10 sound louder than a 15! I have heard one and was quite impressed!

It also depends on the type of bass you want.
If you want insane spl go with 2 15s in a ported or bandpass application (please don't bandpass, it just doesn't sound good...at all). The sound quality from bandpass is horrible. With the ported aplication you will get very loud bass and good range.

If you want good clean bass with an accurate reproduction of tone, the only way to go is sealed.

What ever you decide just remember not to substitute size for crappy equipment. Buy good equipment and you'll get good sound. Try buying used. Check on the forum at www.carsound.com .

If you have any questions become a member there and plenty of very knowledgable competitors and profesionals will be more than glad to help you.
