Is that a radio antenna? I remember reading somewhere that the reception with the TT antenna was pretty bad.

These antennas are in the same price ballpark if your interested in the billet look... I posted them in the interior/exterior forum the other day, but just in case you missed them...

Doh forgot the link...

If you buy it from Audi Dealer for a TT antenna

It wont be fit in your car

they mounting base need special mod to make it fit

the reception
i still have no problem

S2000, bilet , TT and stock antenna

are the same

It is electrically not possible for it to work anywhere near as well as the stock unit, but hey, this puts it right in there with so many other "upgrades" you read about - Costs more, doesn't work as well as the OEM piece it's replacing, but it looks COOL!!

I agree it probably doesn't work well (reception wise). I wish I could get something like a super antenna but small like this.

I doubt you notice much difference staying around downtown Vancouver - Take a spin up 99 to Whistler and compare the number of stations you receive with the old antenna as compared to the new one.

Some of us listen to stations 60 or 80 miles away, everyday.
