trunk rattle

ok, so i have 2 12's in the trunk of my '07 mazda3 (sedan), and something is rattling like crazy....i dont mind it, cuz i cant hear it inside the car (not really anyways) but its the people outside that can hear it, which makes it sound like ****...

it has a metallic rattle, like, metal on metal maybe....
i've already fixed the license plate rattle, and i know it's not the spare tire and jacking equipment, because the stock carpeting insulates the bass no problem...
and i've tried putting some e-tape and foam around the trunk edge, but that did nothing, as well as the trunk lock device....

so does anyone have any idea??
or any idea of how to fix it??
and btw, im leasing, so dynomatting is outta the question.....

It's the heat shield around the exaust probably. turn on your system and crawl under your car. You will probably see the spare tire well flexing a bit and hear the rattle more when your under there. If thats not it then I don't know.
